Southern Mirage 2009 : Pictures from the Belly Dance show October 3rd, 2009. I opted for little flash use and higher ISO speeds to keep a more natural look. The stage lights did create some odd lighting conditions, and very little post-processing enhancements were done to these photos.

Roller Derby : May31st Roller Derby Match in Augusta - Soul City Sirens versus Palmetto State Roller Girls. Indoor flat track with very low light, I opted not to use flash as I didn't feel it was worth the distraction to the players. Instead I opted for high ISO and wide aperture; the trade off was a bit of noise, soft focus, and blurring on the non-focal point. Sadly, the Sirens lost the bout but it was a good match.
